Independent
Consultant, Atlanta, GA
September
2000 - May 2003
Senior
Software Consultant
- New
York University Student. Research and development of
the three-dimensional encryption algorithm using C++ and STL. -
- Smart
Corporation.
Researched batch image decompression and decryption server in C# .net. The
application decrypts files using the Microsoft CryptoAPI, 128bit RSA
public private key algorithm. RC4 hashing is used therefore, a C++ COM
object was created since .net does not support. After decryption, the file
is decompressed using the DynaZip third party tool. The ZIP contains a
payload file, which is parsed, and appropriate workflow tables are updated
in oracle DB. -
- Netcertainty.com. Developed WebLoad, a
HTTP/HTTPS script player and WebAnalyzer, a graphing package for
statistical analysis. The WebLoad product is a VB, C++, COM, VBScript based
tool that will simulate an unlimited number of clients accessing, storing,
and processing internet web pages. The application uses WinSock to emulate
HTTP or HTTPS. The application also includes Install using Wise Install
Builder, and context sensitive help (CHM).
-
- eRevenue.com. Developed a secure file
sharing extranet using VB Web Classes. The site displays a hierarchical
directory tree using DHTML, and allows users to view WORD, EXCEL, TXT, and
HTML documents anywhere. It incorporates Microsoft search engine for easy
document searching. -
eRevenue.com. Developed Java data entry
components supporting various financial calculations real time. The information
was maintained in database on server. The object model developed was flexible enough to provide
support to three other engineering efforts thus decrease overall deployment errors. -
Harland Financial
Solutions, Atlanta, GA

and maintained company research and development intranet server. ASP,
JavaScript, VB, ADO.
- Developed
an extended version information control in C++ for all of software
components. Used by support, and adopted for the entire product.

VB.
- Documented
the C financial calculations module
Sungard Data Systems, Atlanta, GA

- September 1997
Software
Engineer
- Corrected
several application bugs, ranging from memory leaks, COBOL to C++
structure misalignment supporting QA. C++, SQL.
- Developed
user interface control in C++, sub-classing the ComboBox, that supported
quick searching, and being bound to a database.
Spire Multimedia, Atlanta, GA
July 1995 -
July 1997
Senior Software
Engineer
- Developed
a data driven multimedia presentation engine. The engine supported Table
of contents, Video and Audio synchronization, real time host character
mouth rendering, and two interactive sprite games. High performance 2000tps. All embedded API to decrease third party dependency and install base.
VB, C
SoftBlox, Atlanta, GA
February
1993 - May 1995
Software
Engineer
- Developed
an object oriented Huffman compression library from existing source code.
C
- Enhanced
the PCODE/YACC (C and Basic) script engine to support large variables
(>1 segment), using a disk streaming mechanism.
International Business Machines
- Device driver debugging in machine code was rather tedious.
Exact concise efforts lead to solutions within single threaded audio device
drivers. Yet its outer components, the channeling and buffering system were
multithreaded. Error reporting was a minor issue. Divided efforts amongst
team and each became their own harness. I supported efforts of Quality Analysis and
system debugging in Atlanta. Helped solve a random yet hard to find glitch that
finalized the product stability for delivery. SendMessage / PostMessage semaphore
lock in application code.
Policy Management Systems Corporation
- I coded using C++ and os/2. Solved
some good spots dealing with database issues and SQL.
I was quite interested in the SQC information. Worked
rather nicely. They delivered nice training.
Wikoff Color Corporation
- Coding in Pascal. Specialized database software using BTREE.
Business reporting. Supporting COBOL program, reindex.
